Shallow Water Bass Fishing! Flipping, Topwater, Old School Spring Bass Fishing!

Jump in the boat for an exciting day of bass fishing! Matt is on the road and today he's dropped into a lake where the fish are in an old school mood. Today is all about a flipping stick, a frog rod, and shallow water. He's not chasing suspended fish, probing open water, or even using modern electronics!

This is the bass fishing we fell in love with as kids. Bass are up on the bank, they're not line shy, and you can hammer the hook sets. It's HOT but the BIG Bass are biting! Come along for an awesome day of fishing! Matt has his sights set on a power fishing bite and with a deck full of flipping sticks and frog rods, it won't take long. Within minutes of launching, the first BIG bass comes over the rail. That's when you know it's going to be a great day!

A lot of anglers give up on power fishing when it gets hot, but the guys double down under these conditions. Watch how Matt runs two parallel patterns to catch fish. First, he focuses on double shade for a big bite. After that, he moves to outside grass edges and puts together a great bag of fish with a frog and a creature bait.

Beat The Heat! Tips To Catch More Bass Around Grass This Summer!

Tim launched into muddy water and floating debris where he was expecting clear water and aggressive fish.
