Early Spring Power Fishing! (And Grass Fishing Tips)

Jump in the boat with Matt for an afternoon fishing trip in Florida! We've only got a few hours to fish, but that's all we need. Matt employs a handful of baits to quickly start catching fish, including several of his favorite grass fishing techniques. While fishing, he takes the time to explain the details of what he looks for when fishing around grass, how he breaks down water, and the baits he uses to consistently catch fish.

This was one of the quickest trips we've ever done. Matt only had a few hours to fish, but with a swim jig locked in his hand, you know fish are going to be caught. Throw in the swimming worm, a soft jerkbait, and a few alligators and we've got a fun afternoon on the water! While enjoying the fishing, listen closely to Matt's explanation of how he targets fish in grass by finding edges.

TIM'S NEW PERSONAL BEST SMALLMOUTH BASS! IT'S A GIANT!!!

Tim is about to break his personal best! Let's go!! The conditions are absolutely brutal today with cold temperatures and heavy wind. It doesn't take long for Tim to realize he needs to use every advantage possible. He turns to finesse techniques, uses his Humminbird electronics to locate fish, and slowly dissects likely locations on the lake. What could have been a tough day, changed in an instant!

Tim's message at the end of the video sums it up perfectly, "Keep Grinding It Out. You're just one cast away." This is the time of year when you can catch the biggest bass of your life. It's worth the effort, it's worth battling the elements, you never know when your turn is going to come. Again, today was one of those days where you would normally blank and go home without a fish. It took every ounce of modern electronics and modern techniques to turn these brutal conditions into a truly special day. The fish were grumpy, but Tim was able to make it happen!
