Chatterbait VS Swim Jig !! Shallow Water Bass Fishing!

The chatterbait and swim jig are both awesome! Come along for a fun day of fish catching in shallow water! Both the swim jig and the chatterbait are proven fish catchers, but a lot of anglers struggle to understand when to use each style. Today Matt is focusing on these two baits, as well as a frog, to target fish around shallow cover.

For us, the choice between these proven shallow water options is the cover you're fishing around (or through). The chatterbait has amazing drawing power, can cover water quickly, and can be fished erratically. However, it struggles in thick vegetation. The swim jig doesn't have nearly the drawing power, but makes up for it in ability. A swim jig can go anywhere, fish through anything, and gets BIG bites! Add in a frog for good measure and you've got a proven system for shallow water fishing!

Spring Bass Fishing Is Awesome! Exploring Lake Guntersville!

Today we're dropping the boat into Lake Guntersville and going exploring! The guys have no clue what to expect, what the bass are doing, or where to begin. But it doesn't take them long to start putting the pieces together! Watch as they figure out a pattern, and get big fish to bite!

Guntersville is one of the most famous fisheries in the world, but that doesn't mean the bite is going to be easy. The guys weren't sure where to start, so they tied on their confidence baits and started looking for that first bite. Every fish that bit provided a clue that let them put together the puzzle. By midday they caught a great limit, with a big kicker, and left an even bigger one behind!

Spring Fishing Tips For Bass! ( Dropshot, Chatterbait, Glide Bait )

Spring bass fishing is awesome... if you're willing to adapt! One minute you've got a dropshot in your hand, the next minute you're slinging a glide bait. As conditions change, you have to adapt with them if you want to consistently catch fish. Come along for a fun day with Tim and the boys. Watch how they adapt to changing conditions and learn as Tim teaches them about Spring bass fishing.

The guys started out with a plan to power fish but quickly realized they had to adapt. The dropshot and shaky head saved the day until the conditions began shifting. Once the light got a little lower, the power fishing techniques came back into play, with multiple fish on chatterbaits and glide baits. Keep an open mind, be willing to adapt, and you'll take your Spring bass fishing to new heights!

Spring Bass Fishing Is Awesome! (Catching Them On Everything In The Boat!)

The guys are going fishing and they're taking you along for the ride! Spring bass fishing is all about adapting to changing conditions. Watch as the guys catch fish on deep diving crankbaits and square bills, underspins and spinnerbaits, and do it while wearing down jackets to start, and shorts by the end of the day! If you're not ready to adapt, you might as well stay at home!

We love Spring bass fishing! These post spawn fish were aggressive and we found several viable patterns. We found fish holding on current seams and pinch points, as well as moved up on flooded flats. Because of the changing conditions we threw almost every bait we had in the boat!
