CLEARLAKE Fishing When Its HOT! ( Catching Bass With Ross England )

We're back!! Matt is teaming up with Ross England for a day on Clearlake and the bass are in trouble! Come along as Matt tries some Southern tricks on these Western bass and Ross goes to work with a topwater as temperatures soar up to 106 degrees! Today is full of laughs, good times, and knowledge about fishing, traveling, and Clearlake. 

When these two get in the boat, bass are going to be caught! Matt starts the day with a Scrounger and fluke, a combination that is rarely fished on Clearlake. It doesn't take long to start catching fish! Ross chips away with a Super Spook in search of a big bite, and the guys finally wrap it up with some beautiful frog fish in the afternoon.

Grass fishing can be EASY! Learn the tricks to reading expansive grass beds and start catching fish right away! In today's video we drop into a lake for the first time in 6 months (never been there in Summer) and starting catching big bass RIGHT AWAY! You can do this too! 

So many anglers are intimidated by lakes that are full of grass. Its easy to roam around for hours and never even see a fish. However, if someone shows you how to break down a grass flat you'll immediately see it in a new light. Edges suddenly become defined, grass types stand out, and fish become incredibly predictable!
