Power Fishing VS Finesse Fishing: Finding Bass In A New Lake!

Come along for an awesome day on the water! Matt, Tim, and JD are exploring a new lake and they're taking you along for the fun! Watch as they find two distinct patterns... one with a big swimbait, and the other with small finesse baits. Both options prove to be very effective as they cover water in search of quality bass in this new lake!

Breaking down new water can be overwhelming. It's hard to know where to start or what to throw. Today the guys came out with a plan; cover as much water as possible! With this approach in mind they tied on everything from a swimbait, to a chatterbait, to a spy bait. It didn't take long to start getting bit and before long, they'd developed a wide open pattern for catching quality largemouth!

Jerkbait Tricks For Winter Bass Fishing!

Not all jerkbaits are created equal! Jerkbait fishing is one of the best techniques an angler can learn for Winter bass fishing. The jerk bait's ability to trigger a feed response in a bass puts it in a category by itself. However, the true potential of a jerkbait is only unlocked when you slow it down and learn to hover it for long periods in cold water.

When it comes to cold water jerkbait fishing, it's all about cadence and dive depth. It's critical that you can get your bait down to the fish, then suspend it above them to draw a strike. We're not looking for flash, sound, or aggressive movement... we're focused on perfect suspension in the water column.

Jerkbait Tricks For Early Fall Bass Fishing! (Beginner To Advanced)

Jerkbaits Catch Bass!! If you don't throw a jerkbait during the early Fall, you're missing some really fun fishing! Today we're on the water catching big smallmouth on Jerkbaits but in between catches Matt teaches the exact technique, how to use color to fine tune the pattern, and some other key tips. Whether you're a jerkbait beginner or a guy who throws them every day, you're going to enjoy the information in this video! 

Today Matt and CC used a Megabass Vision 110 and a Vision 110 Jr to dial in a jerkbait pattern along a windblown shoreline. The fish were staging on a shallow break to ambush baitfish and these baits were more than the fish could resist. In the beginning the fish were slapping at the baits but Matt began playing with colors and found the color "Elegy Bone" made all the difference. The duo went from short strikes and skin hooks to bass fully committing and t-boning the baits!
