Spring Bass Fishing Is Awesome! (Catching Them On Everything In The Boat!)

The guys are going fishing and they're taking you along for the ride! Spring bass fishing is all about adapting to changing conditions. Watch as the guys catch fish on deep diving crankbaits and square bills, underspins and spinnerbaits, and do it while wearing down jackets to start, and shorts by the end of the day! If you're not ready to adapt, you might as well stay at home!

We love Spring bass fishing! These post spawn fish were aggressive and we found several viable patterns. We found fish holding on current seams and pinch points, as well as moved up on flooded flats. Because of the changing conditions we threw almost every bait we had in the boat!

By changing trailers you can get a chatterbait to mimic shad, panfish, crawfish, and a variety of other prey species. Chatterbaits can be a deep rabbit hole but today our goal is to simplify. The chatterbait is incredibly versatile once you learn to adapt your trailers and retrieves. We use 4 main trailers paired to 4 different chatterbaits to meet every situation we face. The EASIEST Trick For EARLY SPRING Bass Fishing!

RED and ORANGE catch BIG bass in the Spring! When water temperatures reach 50 degrees you should be reaching for a red bait to catch bigger bass! Whether your lake is crystal clear or chocolate milk, bass will attack red baits as they head into the pre-spawn. It can work with chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits, squarebill crankbaits, and more!

The biggest issue with throwing these crawfish–imitating baits is knowing exactly which color to throw. Some baits are neon orange, others are transparent red. So how do you know which ones to try? It all comes down to water color and conditions. Pay close attention as Tim explains how to use each color to your advantage and when to switch between them.
