Cold Muddy Water Fishing Tips! (On The Water)

Has your water turned cold? Don't give up! Cold and muddy water is a Winter angler's nemesis, but you can still catch fish! Come along for a day on the water as Tim faces these difficult conditions but finds unique areas where the mud works to his advantage.

Muddy water is great in Spring but it can make fishing really tough in Winter. If the entire lake has turned to mud, there isn't much you can do about it. Thankfully, on this day the muddy water was still pumping into the lake and Tim was able to find clear water/muddy water seams. These are prime areas to target quality fish under tough conditions and Tim took full advantage.

This Clear River Is Packed With Bass!! (BFS Fishing From The Jet Boat)

Come along for an awesome day of jet boat fishing on a crystal clear river! We're exploring new water and the first thing we notice is Smallmouth bass swimming all around the boat! From the very first cast, the bite is on! Let's go!!

These are the adventures we dream about! Dropping into a new fishery without any outside help and immediately landing on the fish. The bite was wide from the start on a mix of bait finesse and topwater! What an awesome day of fishing from the aluminum boat!

Winter Fishing Tips For Cold Muddy Water (The Toughest Conditions You Can Face)

Winter fishing can be a grind! Add in cold, muddy water, and it will really test your skills! When water temps are below 50 degrees and the water is muddy, its the toughest conditions you can face as an angler. When that's what you're up against, these are the adjustments to make.  

Cold mud is every bass angler's worst nightmare. The fish tend to lock down against cover and their strike zone is incredibly small. However, if the water warms above 50 degrees muddy water fishing can be AMAZING! Today Tim was faced with 44 degree muddy water with heavy current. He started out trying to get a reaction strike but it didn't take long to slow down, pick up a dropshot and a tiny underspin, and target lethargic fish.

Fall Fishing For Bass: (Largemouth, Spotted Bass, AND Smallmouth) On A New Lake!

Come along as we explore a new lake! They're pushing a ton of current down the river and the fish are aggressive! Tim explains how he breaks down new water, what baits he relies on, and how to fish with confidence, even when you've never been on the lake before. 

It doesn't take long to get the first bite but after 25 minutes of battling the beast Tim realizes its the wrong species 😂. Just a few casts later though, a great big Smallmouth comes on board. With confidence rising Tim is able to quickly build a pattern fishing reaction baits and replicates it all over the lake. Anywhere he found a current break, he found fish. While he used a variety of baits to pick the lake apart his key baits were a small underspin and a topwater.
