These Fall Tricks Make Fish Bite!

When fish don't want to bite you can still make them react! Forget trying to fool bass into biting and use these tricks to draw a reaction strike instead! There are a handful of key baits that consistently draw reaction strikes, even as Fall begins to fade into Winter. 

Come along for a day on the water as Matt uses speed cranking and soft jerkbaits to trigger a feed response in wary bass. Not every day is a prime fishing day but if you know how to get bass to feed you can catch quality fish in tough conditions.

If you're making these mistakes, fishing will be tough!!! Thankfully, there are simple adjustments you can make to start catching fish again! The Fall bite should be really good, so if you're not catching good fish every trip, pay close attention to these tips!

So many anglers take the easy path. They fish the same baits, the same patterns, and they only do it on days with nice weather. While this plan can work in Spring, its a huge mistake in Fall. You need to be adapting and following the fish to set yourself up for success through the Winter months. Focusing your attention on baits that trigger a feed response, be willing to move with the fish during tough weather, and focusing on patterns that will last through the seasonal changes.

How To Catch Shallow Bass In The Fall!!

Shallow bass can be tough! You see them chasing baitfish in the backs of coves or splashing around grass edges but can you catch them? Sure you can! These are the tricks we use to catch shallow fish all through the Fall!

Bass have seen a lot of lures by Mid Fall. If they've been living in the shallows they've seen worms, topwater, crankbaits, and a variety of other lures on a daily basis. These fish are educated and wary but they still need to eat! We rely on downsized presentations with key sounds and colors to draw reaction strikes from these shallow water bass.
