Targeting BIG Bass In Offshore Grass! ( Topwater Bite Is On Fire 🔥)

Come along for some insane topwater fishing!! Matt dropped his aluminum boat into a new lake and is going exploring. It only takes a few minutes to locate fish hunting along offshore grass lines. Its been a long time since we've been on a wide open topwater bite like this!

Some days it feels like you make all the right decisions. From where the fish were positioning to the baits they were eating, this lake fit right into Matt's style of fishing. The Giant Dog X and the Magdraft made a great pair on the grass lines but Matt still took the time to explore other options and further dial in the bite.

Summer is swimbait season! Most anglers overlook this opportunity but its easy to catch big bass on swimbaits in the heat!!! From wake baits to soft baits, there are a few tricks you need to know and today we're showing you how to do it!

Big swimbaits work year round. In the Winter months you can specifically target giant bass with them. In Summer, you catch all the fish. You might catch a 2 lber on a Wakebait on one cast and an 8 lber the next! Don't be afraid to fish these large profiles in the Summer but be cognizant of how and where to throw them. Throwing the wrong bait will be a waste of time, while fishing a proven option can produce amazing results!

Summer Bass Fishing: Where Bass Go And How To Catch Them!

Summer fishing is amazing when you know where to go! As temperatures rise, bass follow very predictable patterns. Once you know where to find them, its easy to catch fish! Even when Summer temperatures are at their highest, bass behavior can be predicted and you can keep catching fish despite the heat. Quit struggling this Summer and start catching fish! 

If you don't know where to look, Summer fishing seems like a lost cause. The bass have separated into two distinct schools and they're not in any of your favorite fishing holes. The first goes shallow into cover and the second heads out to main lake structures. The shallow fish are fun because you can target them with a variety of power fishing techniques. The fish on outside structures group up around current when available and hard bottom when the water is calm. These fish can be caught on a variety of lures and tend to feed in aggressive "bite windows".
