Post Spawn Transition – Shakey Head Worms And Crankbaits!

This time of year is awesome! Let's catch some fish!! There are bass in all phases of the spawn but in most places, there are some post spawners already transitioning into Summer patterns. We're getting ahead of those fish and targeting them with worms and crankbaits. Let's go!!

Today is a relaxed day as we get ahead of the transition and catch bass that are shifting toward Summer patterns. We're catching them on offshore structure (rock piles and points) with a shaky head, dropshot, and texas rig. Color is key, and paying attention for those subtle bites can completely change the course of your day!

Fishing After Spring Storms + GIANT Bonus Fish!!

Come along for an awesome day on the water! Tim is fishing after a big Spring storm and its really shaken things up. COLD Muddy water is running down all the creeks and the fish are adapting to the changing conditions. Watch as Tim breaks down the lake and starts catching nice fish quickly. 

Tim got into some really nice largemouth but the Striper stole the show!! You've got to love a GIANT bonus fish! You never know what you're going to catch so it pays to be prepared. The bulk of Tim's bass were in less than 6 feet of water, warming themselves after the cold snap. He also caught them around grass which acts like an anchor for the fish when conditions are changing.

We're heading shallow! Come along as we search the shallows for bass that are making early moves toward the prespawn. SPOILER ALERT: IT WORKS!!! You're about to witness a beat down as we catch bass after bass, up to 11 lbs!!! This time of year can produce giants if you're willing to pursue them!

So many anglers forget to adapt with the seasons. We're constantly pushing the envelope and searching for fish that are moving ahead of the norm. In this case, it involved moving shallow despite cool conditions. It payed off in a huge way! We started off catching big bass with squarebills and paddle tail swimbaits, then ended it with GIANT BASS on chatterbaits!
