Junk Fishing Tricks For Summer Bass Fishing!

Some days you just can't build a pattern! When the Summer heat sets in, its time to go junk fishing! Matt begins the day crushing fish on an underspin, then switches to topwater, then ends with a swimbait. Adapting to changing conditions is the name of the game! 

A lot of anglers give up in Summer because of the heat but they have no idea what they're missing! The weather may be hot but so is the bite! Today, Matt catches fish all day long, even in the heat, and then dials in a bigger swimbait bite as the sun begins to set. You can have a ton of fun on the water in the heat of Summer if you're willing to rig up a few extra rods and listen to what the conditions are calling for.

How To Find And Catch Summer Bass! (Big Swimbaits, Flutter Spoons, And Topwater Tips)

Where do bass go in Summer? Some stay shallow, while others move out deep. Both groups of fish require different lures and approaches. Today we're headed out on the water to check both groups of fish. We do some shallow fishing, some ledge fishing, and ultimately locate big, aggressive fish on an offshore flat. Come along!

Summer is all about adapting to the conditions. Water flow, water temperature, cloud cover, and presence of baitfish, can all change how the fish are positioning and feeding. Watch as Tim's day starts out slow but ramps up as he continues to adapt until locating aggressive fish. Also pay extra attention to the details on lures as he talks about adapting and rigging the different baits he's catching fish on.

Summer Bass Fishing Tricks: Swimbaits and Crankbaits!

The bite is wide open! Come along as we catch fish on big swimbaits, crankbaits, and underspins! We're exploring where fish position on offshore and deep water structures in Summer, and putting the words to action on these Summer bass, as we catch them one after another!

A lot of anglers are intimidated by fishing offshore. Without the shoreline to cast toward it can be scary to move around in the open water searching for fish. But in reality, with decent mapping and a little confidence, its really easy to catch bass away from the bank. Matt teaches where these fish are positioning, then proves it by catching a pile of fish along the way.
