Soft Plastic Jerkbaits: 4 Fluke Tricks For Fall Bass!

The Fluke is an amazing baitfish imitator! There may be no better bait to target aggressive bass in Fall, around heavy cover. The soft jerkbait's ability to dance in an out of cover triggers a feed response, even in wary bass. This is a bait that should be in your Fall fishing line up every time you hit the water. 

Most anglers fish a soft jerkbait but few realize its true adaptability. It can be texas rigged in heavy cover, nose hooked in clear water, or be "donkey rigged" and fished around active bass. Most anglers use the Fluke but few know how to keep fishing eating it day after day. Pay attention to the details in Tim's rigging methods as they can be the difference between catching a few fish and really dialing in an amazing pattern.

Jerkbait Tips For Early Fall Bass Fishing! (Easy Tricks To Get More Bites)

The early Fall transition is jerkbait time! Bass are beginning to focus on baitfish again and there may be no better bait to trigger a reaction strike than a jerkbait. Virtually any jerkbait can get bit right now but there are key baits and key colors that can lead to the kinds of days on the water we all dream about!

Its important to understand that no two jerkbaits are created equal. Different baits have different applications and learning to use each bait at its best time will help you catch more fish. As Matt eludes to in the video, color is everything this time of year. Do not be afraid to throw the aggressive, bold, even obnoxious colors. Bold colors can take a good day of fishing and make it unforgettable!
