Finesse Underspin Swimbaits For Summer Bass!

Come along for an evening on the Tennessee River with Tim and Josiah. The guys are targeting schooling fish with a variety of baits before finally keying in on an underspin. Once they pick up the under spin, its like a light switch flipped and bass start coming into the boat right and left!

We all know the power of swimbaits, especially small swimbaits, when it comes to targeting schooling fish. But taking it a step further, an underspin with its increased flash and vibration, is amazing at drawing bass' attention away from schools of baitfish. That little blade can be the difference between catching a few fish, and having an amazing time on the water.

Top 5 Baits For April Bass Fishing!

Bass fishing is at its peak in April! There is no better time to get on the water and catch a bunch of fish. You can typically find fish in all 3 stages of the spawn and it doesn't take a keen understanding of fish movement to predict where they'll be. Head for the shallows with this short list of baits and you're bound to catch a few fish!

Bass can still be caught on reaction baits, but you can also slow down and catch them on soft plastics. Whatever style you prefer, there will be bass to catch. When it comes to reaction baits, we put a lot of emphasis on standing out from the crowd. We're using baits with flash, vibration, and sound to get the bass' attention. When it comes to soft baits, its all about a natural presentation. We find that baits with a touch of blue in them will often out-produce the others.

UnderSpin Swimbait Tricks You've Never Tried! (Underwater Swim Footage)

Underspins are AMAZING fish catching baits! The trouble is, everyone knows it! Today we're showing the tricks we use to better match the baitfish and catch MORE FISH, when others are struggling to get bit. Spring time is prime time to fish an underspin and this is the information you need to be successful. 

If you've never thrown a Keitech swimbait on an underspin, you've missed an incredible opportunity. The Keitech has put 10's of thousands of fish in angler's boats over the last few years. However, there are many other baits that do an even better job in different situations and you're probably not using them. Under Spins, Tail Spins, And Other Cold Water Fishing Tricks!

Still struggling to catch fish this Winter?? Don't worry! We haven't run out of tricks yet! In cold, off colored water nothing can compete with the vibration of a small blade. That could be a blade bait, an underspin, or a tail spin. Whatever you choose, the drawing power of that small blade will pull fish much farther than a stand alone bait. 

The power of vibration in cold water is remarkable. Fish will move farther for a small blade than they will for a bare swimbait. However, you don't want to take that to the extreme. If you switch to larger baits and bigger blades, you often lose the fish catching effectiveness. As we head through the brutal part of Winter, focus your attention on those small 2 to 3 inch baits with this technique.
