Catching Big Bass Without Fancy Electronics! Lake Chickamauga SlugFest!

Do you bass fish on a budget? This one's for you! We're out on Lake Chickamauga on the Tennessee River and we're catching BIG BASS! We forgot the electronics so we're fishing completely blind! If big screens, side imaging, and live sonar is out of your reach, don't let it get you down. You can still catch a huge limit of fish on a highly pressured lake with nothing but a rod and reel in your hand!

Not only are we fishing without electronics, Tim caught all our biggest fish on a budget-friendly rod as well! Electronics and nice equipment definitely make it easier to find fish quickly but it can be done easily enough by using your knowledge. Focus your time on secondary points and edges of spawning flats where fish should be gathering this time of year and eventually cross paths with quality fish.

Spring Buyer's Guide: Budget Rods and Reels For Bass Fishing!

Welcome to the 1st Annual Spring Buyer's Guide Series! We're kicking this series off with budget-minded rods and reels for serious anglers. We scoured the fishing industry for the best rods and reels for different techniques, so you don't have to break the bank when you need a new combo. This is only the beginning! When it comes to budget gear, the rod actions allow for some wiggle room between techniques.
