Speed cranking and A-rig fishing are the two main power techniques that consistently work in cold water. Another great option is hopping a blade bait. Where Do Bass Go In Fall? Beginner To Advanced (How To Catch Them)

Everything changes when the nights get cool! Overnight the fish you've been catching will begin to disappear. They’re becoming active, and as a result they’re on the move. Where are they going and how do you catch them? That’s what we’re here to help you learn. It will happen in phases and this is what you can expect… 

As we progress through Fall there are two distinct groups of bass. The Fish that go shallow will ambush baitfish around cover while the deep fish transition to hard bottom. Later, the grass will begin to die and the shallow fish will behave like their deep water counterparts, immediately moving to hard structure.
