How To Catch The Biggest Bass Of Your Life This Winter! (Full Seminar)

Are you ready to catch a new personal best bass? Don't want to wait until Spring? Matt is showing you everything you need to know to be successful this Winter in today's full-length seminar on Winter bass fishing with swimbaits! He explains where bass are positioning, which baits to use, how to trigger strikes, what it takes to land these fish, and how to properly care for a fish of a lifetime.

Swimbait fishing takes commitment. It requires dedication, focus, and a willingness to sacrifice your time on the water in pursuit of a singular goal. Its hard work but its your best shot at breaking your personal best before the prespawn. As the water cools bass become lethargic. Their willingness to hunt wanes and they begin pursuing single large meals rather than chasing down multiple small morsels.

Understanding when to choose a glide bait over a paddle tail, or when bottom crawling a wedge tail will outshine a faster moving offering, takes years of trial and error on the water. Thankfully Matt is taking all of that knowledge and putting it together for you in a single video. Pay close attention to the details, commit to the search for a giant bass, and this will be a Winter unlike any you've ever had before. Good luck in your pursuit of a monster fish!

Below is a breakdown of the swimbaits Matt recommends. He's categorized the baits by style and included general color recommendations. When selecting glide bait colors keep in mind that highly visible colors will almost always outshine natural dull colors, even in clear water. He's also included a list of tackle and gear that will make landing the fish of a lifetime much easier.

The TacticalBassin FINESSE Swimbait Head Is Here!!!

Announcing the TACTICALBASSIN FINESSE SWIMBAIT HEAD! This new head is designed to fill a huge void for bass fishermen. When heavy hooks are too much but you’re not looking for a micro hook either, the TacticalBassin Finesse Swimbait Head is exactly what you’re searching for! This new head incorporates a medium wire 4/0 hook that pairs perfectly with 3 1/2 inch to 5 inch swimbaits and paddle tails.

Many companies offer tiny finesse heads and big heavy wire heads but few have heads that fit the middle (which is exactly where most fishermen are). For this project we partnered with Dirty Jigs Tackle and the already proven design of the Matt Allen Swimbait Head (see link below). We used the exact head shape (fantastic profile), same 30 degree line tie (destabilization to get more bites), and proven twin keeper system (single wire keeper paired with a lead collar keeper). By working from this already proven head design we were able to compare hooks and wire sizes with ease. It didn’t take long to find the perfect hook, a medium wire 4/0.

This 4/0 hook will land big fish with ease but won’t overpower smaller baits when a finesse approach is needed. The reduced wire size (as compared to the Matt Allen Swimbait Head) will also allow anglers to fish this head on lighter line and tackle, allowing for more bites in clear water finesse situations. If you loving throwing small swimbaits and paddle tails and need a hook to “do it all”, this is your hook!

If you’re in a big bass environment, especially around heavy cover, the Matt Allen Swimbait Head is your best bet. If you’re throwing micro swimbaits like a 2.8 keitech, a Guppy Head with its small 1/0 hook is a great match, but if you’re fishing anywhere in the middle, its time to try the TacticalBassin Finesse Swimbait Head.

4 Underspin Tricks To Catch More Bass! Bonus Underwater Footage!

Catching BIG bass when everyone else is catching small fish is easy! Are you tired of keitech swimbaits getting torn? Which heads are best for ledge fishing? Did you know you can use blade size and color to change how a bass eats, not just when a bass eats? Do blades even move when bottom fishing? Does it matter? All of this and more in today's information-packed video on Fall Underspin fishing for bass!

The Underspin is one of the most underrated lures in bass fishing. Most clear water fishermen assume its too flashy and most muddy water fishermen don't realize their fish can find it. If you're one of the lucky ones that has given this technique a try during its recent resurgence, you already know how amazing it can be! The under spin may be the most versatile of all reaction baits. It has an effective range with water temps from high 30's all the way up to 80+ degrees. It can be fished in 50+ feet of water but is equally effective in just inches of water around vegetation.

The key to the underspin is in the subtle nuances. For example, the River2Sea D Walker will cause the bait to rock, roll, and flash more than any other bait we've ever seen. The keitech will get bit at virtually any speed and with the quick "spring trick" in this video, can last through dozens of fish. The Blade Runner Spintrix will draw fish with its incredible head wobble but when conditions change the Hog Farmer will catch them with its stable action. Pay attention to the details in this video and you will catch way more bass this Fall!

Below is a breakdown of the baits, heads, and gear we use when fishing these underspins for bass.

The Best Dropshot Trick For Fall Bass!

Are you ready to try something different to catch more bass this Fall? Are you tired of the same old dropshot worm? Its time to discover a new way to fish a finesse swimbait! Dropshotting small swimbaits is a deadly trick for Fall bass that are feeding on baitfish. If you aren't doing it this Fall, you're missing fish that are ready to be caught.

Tim turns to a non-traditional dropshot rig for Fall bass. Not only does he use a swimbait instead of a worm, he also prefers to tie his tungsten dropshot weights to the line instead of using a standard dropshot weight. He explains that smallmouth and spotted bass will often throw traditional dropshot weights off the line during the fight but a tied weight will last much longer. This video is full of small details that make a huge difference so pay close attention to what Tim is teaching.

While the actual method is simple, Tim breaks down 3 key applications for the dropshotted swimbait. He also explains there are two different hooks that work for this technique. The Owner mosquito light is best with higher-end tackle that has been dialed in to absorb the hard runs of big bass. This hook is incredibly sharp but will bend under load if the angler is not experienced with battling big bass. For those with budget tackle that is not as dialed in, or those who simply prefer a heavier wire hook, the Trokar dropshot hook is a phenomenal option. Below is a breakdown of the baits, hooks, weights, and equipment that Tim recommends for this method.

The baits...
