Super Spook Modifications

One of the keys to keeping Tacticalbassin relevant is feedback from you. Last week I received a request for a video on fishing the super spook. This video is a direct response to that request.
Super Spooks are a fun and exciting way to put quality fish in the boat through the warmer months. However, there are some modifications you can make to help the bait reach its full, fish catching potential.

Throwing topwater lures is one of the most exhilarating ways to catch bass, but all too easily it can end in heartbreak. Lots of factors go into hooking fish on topwater lures, but today I’d like to offer one quick tip that’s easy to put to use.

Wakebaits in Winter

How many times have you heard that there is a certain water temperature when the topwater bite starts and that its a waste of time to throw topwater in the dead of winter? I for one do not agree! I’m a firm believer in throwing topwater year round, especially on a warm winter afternoon. This isn’t a giant fish by any stretch of the imagination but this 3 lb spot did step up and eat a 10″ JSJ Wakebait in February!
