Fall Fishing On The CA Delta! (Tidal Fishing For Largemouth And Striper)

We’re on the CA Delta and the bite is wide open! From Striper to Largemouth, the guys have no trouble putting together a pattern and catching a bunch of quality fish! Come along as Matt explores this tidal system with topwater, swim jigs, and crankbaits!

Its easy to go to your local lake and fish your favorite spots but as Matt illustrates in this video, it can be very beneficial to run likely patterns, even on spots you’ve never been. If you find a lure or technique that is working you can repeat the pattern on other similar spots on your lake or river. Matt and Ninja fished a very basic pattern today, relying on fast moving baits and topwater to cover water and catch Striper, then they turned to a crankbait on rip rap banks to catch quality bass and a Senko to pick off any remaining fish.

Jig Tricks For Fall Bass Fishing! (Beginner To Advanced

The jig bite is amazing in the Fall! We constantly rely on the jig to get BIG bites. The key is understanding where bass are positioning and which jig styles to throw. Today Matt is giving you the keys to Fall jig fishing whether you're fishing a clear finesse fishery, a shallow grassy lake, or anywhere in between. 

Understanding how fish are positioning in the Fall is half the battle. Pay attention to Matt's tips on WHERE he throws each style of jig as much as why he's throwing it. Getting bit on the jig is easy, once you're around the right fish. After that its all about jig selection. The right jig for a highland reservoir is completely different than the right jig for a Southern fishery.
